hOur: Bristol is a new creative and community timebank for South Bristol. Kickstarted by funding from Bristol City Council’s Creative Seed Fund, the project will involve a series of participatory events featuring micro-commissioned performances and artworks (each given £250 and 20 free hours to spend) in 2016-2017.
It will bring together professional and non-professional creatives in South Bristol, breaking down barriers and encouraging collaboration through member-led transactions – projects, workshops, exhibitions, performances. This hopes to enrich the sector, encourage creative entrepreneurship, bring new skills and services to areas of deprivation, and celebrate some of the unique and vibrant creative culture of South Bristol.
